We began our observance of the season of Lent with the imposition of ashes on Ash Wednesday. Ash Wednesday is an ancient observance of the Christian Church, marking the beginning of the season of Lent. Lent is a time of refocusing, of simplifying, of renewal, in preparation for the joy of Easter.

During Lent we will be fasting some, praying some, studying some, working some, laughing some, sharing some, worshiping some, and trying hard to live intentionally.
