Where Your Treasure Is

We all tend to live our lives as if we were in charge, rolling high with the good times and hanging on with gritted teeth through the bad. Often it's only when we really hit a wall that we bring God into it. Or so we think. But God is in your life always, blessing, healing, inspiring, consoling. Acknowledging God's presence and opening your eyes and heart create a space within which God's work of blessing can take place.

From The Vicar...

We began our observance of the season of Lent with the imposition of ashes on Ash Wednesday. Ash Wednesday is an ancient observance of the Christian Church, marking the beginning of the season of Lent. Lent is a time of refocusing, of simplifying, of renewal, in preparation for the joy of Easter.

During Lent we will be fasting some, praying some, studying some, working some, laughing some, sharing some, worshiping some, and trying hard to live intentionally. Join us for our services on Sundays (10:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.) or contact us for ideas about how you can use the Lenten season to gain a new perspective.
